Did you know that this scene was entirely unscripted? Johnny Depp just kinda went with this and no one stopped him, so the reactions’ on the other actors’ faces are their actual reactions to Depp’s shenanigans.

makes the scene 100000 times better omfg

you can even see orlando glancing at the people behind the camera as if asking what is going on

thus why we all love Johnny Depp.

everybody loves Johnny Depp

This is a bunny at a L’oreal lab. L’oreal does a lot of cruel needless animal testing.

Why don’t they just use prisoners who have done horrible things like rape people, kill people and making them suffer. I don’t get why innocent animals like this bunny need to suffer. What have they done wrong? Animals have rights too, why don’t we respect them?

1) Animals DO NOT have rights. I’m not saying they don’t feel anything or should be treated however the fuck any asshole wants to treat them, but they most certainly do not have rights. And if you can’t agree with that, then you must agree that a human life has more value than an animal life. If you can’t agree with that, you’re a psychopath. Seek help.

2) L’Oreal halted almost all animal testing in 1989, and uses reconstructed skin models instead. The remaining animal testing done accounts for less than 1% of all safety assessment and is done to predict the ingredient’s potential for skin allergy.

3) if you’re the sort that really thinks we should test things on prisoners, you’re a monster. We don’t have reliable data on people who go to prison on false accusations, but no matter how small that number is, it is still there. And in the off chance that an innocent person dies because some fuck didn’t have the wisdom to see this inherent problem, that would be a far worse tragedy than the occasional bunny with sore skin.

Animal research has played a vital part in nearly every medical breakthrough over the last decade.
Nearly every Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine since 1901 has relied on animal data for their research. Vivien Thomas used animal testing to help find the cure for Tetralogy of Fallot (known as blue baby syndrome), he used dogs (who have similar lungs and hearts to us) for this, and ended up saving thousands of infants lives.

While non-animal methods play an important part of biomedical research, they cannot replace all use of animals.
We share 95% of our genes with a mouse, making them an effective model for the human body.
Animals and humans are very similar; we have the same organ systems performing the same tasks in more or less the same way.
Animals suffer from similar diseases to humans including cancers, TB, flu and asthma, so our testing not only helps us but our pets as well.
Many veterinary medicines are the same as those used for human patients: examples include antibiotics, pain killers and tranquillisers.

So animal testing not only benefits humans but animals themselves.

What I find most disturbing about these posts is how incredibly biased they are.
They never express how it’s not just random animals, it’s only animals with certain characteristics of what they’re testing for.
They’re very humane about it, if the animal is stressed or in the slightest amount of pain they’re given medication to fix what’s causing them pain and attempt to cure it. If continues to demonstrate signs of pain and discomfort, the animal is put down, not left to die or continuously tested on.
People always rant about how horrible it is, without realizing what it really is or the benefits.

We have two cats that came from a lab at the hospital where my mom works. They give them away for free once they’re above a certain weight and they can’t be used for testing. They’re the healthiest cats we’ve ever had, and they were already fixed and medicated when we got them. They take wonderful care of the cats at the lab.
